Coaching Volunteers
Our young athletes need you to coach!
Chardon Baseball thanks you for volunteering as a coach for our youth.
Please complete:
1) 2024 Coach Registration
2) Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017
3) Lindsay’s Law: Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Youth Athletes
4) Concussion Training
The below requirements are good for three years.
If not completed within the last three years please complete:

Ohio State Law requires that all coaches review the Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017.
3) Lindsay’s Law: Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Youth Athletes
It is a requirement that all coaches, parents and youth athletes complete the required training for Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

4) Concussion in Sports Training
It is a requirement that all coaches complete the Concussion in Sports training course.
There is no cost to you to take the course. When you have completed the course please print a copy of your certificate and have it with you at your practices and games.
5) Background Screening
It is a requirement that all coaches complete the background screening if not done so within the last 3 years.
An email link will be emailed to you if the background screening needs to be completed or cannot be verified.

FYI, the USA Baseball Mobile Coach app for iPhone and Android is a great program to have at your fingertips especially when you're out in the field.
